How to send an application to an applicant

Share the unit invite link or send an invitation from Burnt to an applicant.

Applicants begin by opening the invite link for a unit. You can share the link yourself or send an invitation from Burnt. For the full walkthrough, see How to invite an applicant.

Share the link

  1. Open the unit you are filling.
  2. Copy the invite link.
  3. Send it to the prospective renter by your own email or messaging. Anyone who opens the link starts an application for that unit.

Send from Burnt

  1. Open the unit and select [Invite applicant].
  2. Enter the applicant's email. 
  3. Send. The applicant receives a message with a link to begin.

Track progress

From the unit or your dashboard, you can see when each person has started and completed their steps. To revoke or resend, see How to cancel, resend, or revoke an invite.
