How to approve an application

Review the results and record an approval on the application.

When you are ready to move forward with an applicant, you record an approval on the application.

Steps

  1. Open the completed screening and review the six checks and the affordability result. See How to read a screening report.
  2. Select the option to approve.
  3. The decision is recorded on the application.

Good to know

  • Apply your criteria consistently across applicants.
  • Approving in Burnt records your screening decision. Any lease or move in steps happen outside Burnt, since Burnt does not offer lease management.
