How to activate screening and set up your account

Complete account setup and verification so your account is authorized to order screenings and view reports.

Before you can send screenings and view reports, you complete a short setup so that your account is authorized to receive consumer report information.

Steps

  1. Create your account and sign in. See Creating your account and signing in.
  2. Complete your organization profile.
  3. Complete identity and permissible purpose verification. This step confirms you are entitled to receive consumer report information and is required before you can view results.
  4. Accept the applicable terms presented during setup.
  5. Once verification and terms are complete, screening is activated and you can create your first unit. See Setting up your first unit.

Why verification is required

Consumer reports may be accessed only for a permissible purpose, such as evaluating a rental applicant. Verifying your organization protects applicants and keeps your account in good standing.
